Ye Olde Valley Historic Link Pages

"The Junction" in Derby - today's Main Street and Derby Avenue

The Valley is fortunate to have an abundance of websites with historic information. Our goal is to find and link to as many as we can. Besides this page, there are two other subcategorized link pages below - one historic personalities, and a second for historic places and events. The later is subdivided into 5 more categories, one for each Lower Naugatuck Valley town.. See the bottom of this page for more links, and further information on the link pages.

NOTES: The Electronic Valley is one of the most dynamic Connecticut portal sites you will find on the internet today. Virtually anything concerning Derby, Ansonia, Seymour, Shelton, Oxford, Beacon Falls, or Naugatuck at your fingertips! "DHQ" means the link is from the Derby History Quiz Archive page. "VDT" means the link is from the Valley Heritage Driving Tour. Both are on the Electronic Valley. "OP" means the link is from Oxford Past.com, while "OOI" means the link is from Our Oxford Info, both great websites. We are trying to feature as many links pertaining to Valley history as possible. If you know of a local history on the internet, or you would like us to discontinue a link, please e-mail us at info@derbyhistorical.org.
